When our Mindset is switched to Survival, we don’t feel OK.

Our puzzle pieces become misshapen and disconnected. We lose our ability to be present with our emotions and with others. We may find it hard to listen fully, or to pay attention to others’ needs. This in turn leads to defensive reaction and behaviour where we shield ourselves from our own and others’ feelings or anxieties.

Conversely, when our Mindset is switched to Growth, we feel OK.

Our puzzle pieces are aligned and connected – our intention positive. We feel present with our emotions and use that understanding to inform mindful action. We are much more able to reach out to others for support or connection. We feel secure and in control which results in a stronger sense of belonging and inclusion.
